SXSW London: Rhydian HicksRhydian Hicks is the music programme producer at SXSW London, the first European edition of SXSW. For 35 years SXSW has grown and built a huge community in Austin, Texas, and now in 2025 the SXSW conference and festival is expanding to London. Rhydian will share his experience working with planning the 2025 music programme at SXSW London. Rhydian has previously worked at Soundcrash/Live Nation as their Operations Manager, as a booker at the concerts promotions company Adrian Gibson Music Productions (AGMP) and as booking agent at the artist touring agency Stateside Touring.
Bird on the Wire: Tim Palmer
Tim Palmer is the Director and Co-Founder of BIRD ON THE WIRE, which is an independent promotion and production organization staging over 150 concerts, festivals, and arts events every year. Bird on the Wire began in 2009 as friends Clémence Godard and Tim Palmer hosted a three-day mini festival in Dalston. Since then, BOTW has been bringing its expertise and ethos to regions and countries beyond. Tim will share his experience as an independent organisation in the music industry with a passionate approach and an attentive consideration for artists and audiences.
